"A poster for Typography" 4-15/8/2014 at the Sailing Club of Chania, Neorio Moro .

Inspiration , color , imagination and a lot of talent recruited the 167 participants in the poster competition organized by the Museum of Typography by the newspaper " Haniotika News " to create a total of 235 posters dedicated to art that changed the course of history .
Fifty of the porters that stood out in this competition will be presented in an exhibition which opens Monday August 4th at 8:30 pm at the Sailing Club of Chania in Neorio Moro .
The three winners that receive the prices of 1000€, 700€ and 500€ respectively are:

• KOSTAS THEOHARIS
• GIANNIS KORNARAKIS
The works of art that will be presented in the exhibition and their creators will receive honorary distinction are: Asimakopoulos Panos, Aggelos Gounaridis, Georgia Kaltapanidou, Eleftheria Tziirki, Giota Zoumbouli, Christina Vlaikoudi, Sapphire Li, Thanasis Bertahas, Spyros Pittidis, Eftyhia Iliadou, Panagiotis Lambridis, Janne Korhonen, Vaso Mihailidou, Aggeliki Christaki, Alexis Vouzaras, Maria Petroglou, Melpo Danou.
We thank all participants who responded to our call, and provided us with numerous great posters. As contesters were given the opportunity to participate with two proposals, only one of them was selected to proceed to the second phase, in order to give more people the opportunity to show their work.
All the proposals that were not selected for the exhibition will be presented through projection on site for the duration of the exhibition.
